Description
Winemaker’s comments
2009 was an outstanding vintage, with good rainfall in the Spring of 2008 resulting in excellent development of the vines. The supply of underground moisture allowed the grapes to mature perfectly. All of our Shiraz is sourced from a grower in Osmington, with whom we have a long term relationship. This grower continuously produces fantastic quality fruit for us, and the slightly cooler growing climate contributes to the spicy, peppery characters that are typical of Shiraz.
Additional information
Maturation | The wine is aged in a combination of French and American oak barriques for a period of 14-16 months. |
