Color, nose and palate
Aromas of spicy forest fruits with overtones of oak and cinnamon spice feature on the nose. On the palate the wine is a medium bodied. Shiraz with good oak tannins and lingering alcoholic warmth on the finish. A wine that will improved with bottle ageing time over the next 10 years.

Classic traditional style winemaking techniques were utilised. Relatively warm ferment hand, plunged 3 times a day then transferred at 1 Baume’ into barrels for the completion of fermentation in oak barrels. A mixture of new and 1 year old oak barrels was used to help the wine’s tannin structure. The fruit for this wine was sourced from 3 different regions predominately Hunter Valley 50%, McLaren Vale. SA, 30% and Hilltops, NSW, 20%.
Total acidity: 6.6gL
Maturation: French Oak for 18 months
