Winemaker’s comments

The fruit for this wine was grown in Lovedale on the Majors Lane vineyard. This vineyard consistently produces excellent quality fruit from a 3 acre block grown on loamy/clay soils.Handpicked, pressed and transferred into barrels for 100% barrel fermentation. Three different yeast isolates were used to create this fine Chardonnay. To preserve the fresh apple character no malolactic fermentation was induced.
