2013 Pfeiffer Riesling
Halliday 94/100
Color, nose and palate
Bright, pale straw colour. The nose abounds with lemon and lime fruit. The palate is dry, with intense citrus fruit flavour on the mid-palate, and crisp, refreshing acidity.
Food recommendation: Extremely versatile, able to handle both delicate and strong flavours. Superb with seafood.
Cellaring potential: Enjoy now and over ten years until 2023.

Winemaker’s comments
Riesling is regarded very highly in the Pfeiffer family for its wonderful depth of flavour and great potential for bottle maturation.
Unlike the 2011 and 2012 seasons, there were minimal rain events throughout the 2013 vintage, allowing for a steady receival of fruit and less pressure in the winery.
