Color, nose and palate
An amazing depth of colour with inky red and purples with intense hues. The nose has a youthful aroma of red licorice and sweet toasty oak, which is integrated into the richness of the wine. Lifted ripe raspberry fruit characters combined with varietal spice and hints of pepper are at the fore of the bouquet.
A warm, inviting and full bodied palate, which is beautifully ripe ≤ generous. It tastes of rich, sweet blackberry & raspberry fruits and the vanilla oak is complimentary to the chocolaty tannins. A superb length on the smooth, rounded finish is a testament to this well made wine.
This wine can be enjoyed with char-grilled beef tenderloin, lasagna or aged cheddar cheeses.
